NURSING HOME/HOSPITAL

Help is needed for the Affinity Flu Clinic on Dec 5 from 7:30 am until 1:00 pm.  Students will help with directing individuals.  Students will need to find their own transportation to the Affinity Clinic on Midway Road.  Students should wear school clothes (no jeans).  There is a sign up sheet on the Campus Ministry bulletin board outside of Ms Simon's office or email ssimon@acesxavier.k12.wi.us 

 

PARISH 

Volunteers are needed for St Edward Parish's Fall Festival on October 24 from 4:30-10:00 pm.  Students will be helping to do computer entry, collect and sell raffle tickets and monitor other stations.  Students must wear a white shirt and black pants.  A sign up sheet is on the campus ministry bulletin board or ssimon@acesxavier.k12.wi.us.  Please sign up before Oct. 16.  This event will take place at the Grand Meridian on Oneida St and students must find their own transportation to the event. 

 

COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION

"Every Girl's a Princess" is looking for student volunteers on Oct 9, 10 & 11 at Fox Valley Technical College.  Set-up assistance is needed unloading trucks and setting up on Oct 9 from 4-7pm.  The truck will be re-loaded on Oct 11 from 4-6pm.  Royal Dressers are needed on Oct 10 (9-4) and 11th (10-4).  There is a sign up sheet on the Campus Ministry bulletin board or email danlisa4@sbcglobal.net 

BEST FRIENDS AFTER SCHOOL MENTORING PROGRAM:  Play board games, complete craft projects, help with homework, play computer games, and more!  Mentoring a child through the Best Friends After-School Program is fun and easy.  Meet with an elementary or middle school student for one hour a week during the school year.  The After-School Program meets on Mondays at Neenah High School from 3:30-4:30 pm or Wednesdays at Menasha High School from 3:30-4:30 pm.  One hour a week is all it takes to make a difference in the life of a child.  To learn more about the Best Friends After-School Program please call 729-5600 or andrea@bestfriendsnm.org.
